Weddings & DJ events starting in 2014. This company was a dream that surprised me. Things happen for a reason and I get to bring couples good entertainment. It's fun to see people's eyes light up when I play songs that they wanted to hear but didn't know they needed. Reading a room is like breathing for me. I started my music journey in LA. Moving back to Grand Rapids because of family was the greatest thing I ever could have done for myself. This team is strong because I train them correctly. My experience in Hollywood pushed me to new levels. I have my hand on everything in this company. When you care, It really shows. That's why we offer affordable and pricy weddings. We like to help our couples go home having the time of their life.

I've been a DJ for as long as I can remember. From house parties to events like bars and you name it! I like to mix in songs that keep the dancefloor moving. I listen to the crowd when needed and I can mix in songs on the fly. I've helped NewSwivel grow through the years with events everywhere in Michigan. I've probably seen every venue at this point and I love to get people dancing. I work the mic to keep people entertained but it's always classy. I can mix anything. Level 1: Basic DJ Course
Learn the Foundations of Djing $1,450
Our Basic DJ Course is the perfect starting point for anyone who wants to learn how to DJ. In this hands-on class, students will learn the core skills every DJ needs to mix music confidently.
You’ll be introduced to professional DJ equipment, learn how to beatmatch, blend songs smoothly, and understand the structure of tracks so you can create seamless transitions. We focus on practical learning, so you’ll spend time practicing on real DJ gear while receiving guidance and feedback from an experienced instructor.

This program combines hands-on training, extended practice sessions, and deeper education on what it takes to perform professionally. Students will learn advanced mixing techniques, how to curate music like an artist, build a unique sound, and develop a professional DJ workflow.
In addition to technical skills, we guide students through the steps needed to enter the DJ world—from preparing a set and building a brand to understanding performance opportunities.
